As a young art student I was unable to find strong and stable stretchers that would enhance my creativity and showcase my work. Stretchers that readily available were flimsy, warped and difficult to paint on and would inevitably have to be replaced. I utilized my art and mechanical engineering background and literally took matters into my own hands. That was 17 years ago and I am proud to say I have created a well respected business that can offer a wide range of painting support products.

I believe that the support for a work of art is not an adjunct to it, but an integral part of it. The same commitment to excellence that artists exemplify through their work should be reflected on the back. In fact, I like to think of creating painting supports as an art form in itself, especially for artists who require such unusual designs for their work. For restoring artwork, a proper stretcher is needed to enhance the value of the painting as well as to maintain the condition of the painting for years to come.
