Folding stretchers allow large paintings to be transported without being removed from the stretchers.

Available in all styles stretchers, folding stretchers are usually divided into two sections and connected with aluminum angled hardware.

To fold painting, remove aluminum hardware, and fold the painting facing in around the sonotube. The bigger the painting, the bigger sonotube should be used. Sonotube should be wrapped in glassine or materials that will not damage the painting.

To secure painting and sonotube in place, wooden brackets are installed on top, bottom and two sides.
