Popular in the late 19th Century France, this stretcher features a miter joint on the face and the butt joint on the back (unlike the older version of mortise and half miter). It has an extra finger in the joint for added strength. Great for restoring period pieces.

Available in flat back and beveled back profiles. Constructed out of sugar pine.
