Our highly crafted Assemble Yourself Stretchers come in two different styles- American Traditional and Mechanical. Both are crafted in solid basswood in Tongue & Groove L-Shape construction.

American Traditional Style available in heavy duty, medium weight, and regular weight. Mechanical Style only available in heavy duty and medium weight.

Heavy Duty Ready Made Bar
Profile: 1-1/2" thick x 3" bar width
It is the most popular ready made of all. Deep profile provides approximately 3/4" clearance between canvas and crossbars.

Medium Weight Ready Made Bar
Profile: 1-1/8" thick x 2-3/4" bar width
Medium weight is ideal for those who do not like bulky profile, but prefer clearance between canvas and crossbars. Medium weight provides approximately 5/16" clearance.

Regular Weight Ready Made Bar
Profile: 13/16" thick x 1-3/4" bar width
Regular weight is perfect for those who like a thin profile. Approximately 1/4" clearance.
