This kind of support provides a semi rigid surface for the canvas to rest on. Semi rigid panel constructs with an acid-free gatorfoam board on a wood cradle. Ideal for artists who use a lot of pressure during painting process. No need to worry about touching the crossbars. A backing to keep out dirt is not necessary.

Comes in three different profiles - no air space, little air space, and deep air space. With no air space profile, canvas will rest on the gatorfoam board. Little air space profile provides approximately 1/8" clearance between canvas and gatorboard, and deep air spaces provides approximately 1/2" clearance.
