Shipping & Handling

Our primary shipping carriers are Fedex Ground and Service by Air for oversized packages. Fedex Expedite Services or other shipping carriers can also be used upon requested. Most shipping carriers do not deliver to PO boxes. A complete street address is required.

We ship international orders via Fedex International or Service by Air. Recipient is responsible for any customs fees, duties, and other taxes levied by the country of destination. These fees cannot be estimated prior to shipping.

Shipping costs may vary based on weight, dimenions and destination. We encourage you to request for an estimate from our associates on shipping rate before ordering.

Please inspect all shipments upon receipt of goods. It is your responsibility to note any damage on all copies of delivery receipt. Delivery receipt must be signed by driver and consignee. Immediately advise carrier of damage and request carrier inspection. Save carton and all packing material for inspection. Do not remove from premises before inspection is made.

Notify carrier at once and request inspection. Do not write to us. Carrier and Simon Liu, Inc. are not responsible unless damage is reported immediately and carton is retained. If this precaution is not taken, Simon Liu, Inc. cannot assist you in recovering the amount of claim against carrier. Retain copy of inspection report and send a copy of inspection report to:

Truck Delivery within NY Metro

Delivery to Manhattan, Brooklyn and some parts of Queens is $75.00. Additional fees may apply for large quantities, oversized items or walk up. Long distance delivery within New York City varies and is based on distance, quantity and weight. Please call for rate.

Deliveries must be scheduled ahead of time.

The maximum capacity of our delivery truck is 90" H. x 120" L. Stretchers that exceed the maximum capacity will be delivered unassembled or folded. Assembling and unfolding on-site are available upon requested. Please call for rate.

Before signing off for merchandise, please inspect carefully. Simon Liu Inc. will not be responsible to any repair or exchange once you sign for the merchandise. You are accepting the merchandise in its condition when sign.

Transportation & Holding of Artwork

Simon Liu, Inc. is a manufacturer of high quality painting supports. We are neither art mover nor are we insured for the transportation of artworks. In addition, Simon Liu, Inc. is not a storage facility and therefore is not insured for artworks that are in its possession. All artwork must be insured by the client.

Simon Liu, Inc. will hold an artwork free of charge during a current production time. Anytime thereafter, Simon Liu, Inc. reserves the right charge a holding fee until the artwork leaves the premises.

Please be advised that if artwork is to be picked up by Simon Liu, Inc., artwork must be securely packed and clearly labeled. Pick up or delivery must be scheduled ahead of time, and there is no guarantee that Simon Liu, Inc. will have immediate openings. Pick up or delivery of stretched or rolled artwork is $125.00 per trip.

Packing

We ship all stretchers unassembled. If necessary, we can build crates for large size stretchers or panels that need to be shipped in one piece. Please call for rates. Extra packing materials will be for shipping panels. Additional packing fee may apply. For large size panels, we encourage you to hire an art mover to pick up. It may be costly to ship and pack.

We wrap brown craft paper for all stretched or primed pieces and artwork when deliver by truck. For extra protection, cardboard, plastic, and glassine are available for additional costs.
