Palette Cups can be used to melt large amounts of paint at one time. They can be used to keep colors pure, or to save mixes that you have made. Our palette cups are made of a heavy aluminum and steel alloy. This cup will hold one of our regular size 104ml Encaustic Cakes. Rectangular cups are 3 7/8" x 2 1/2". Sold in a pack of 3.

A heated surface is used to hold cups of paint or to mix color right on the surface. This is our 16"x16" palette with attached brush holder and heating element. It is made with a sheet of 3/8" aluminum alloy and has been anodized to prevent reactivity that could discolor pigments. Adjustable Legs make for easy leveling of the palette. Brushes, thermometer, and palette cups are sold separately.

The Hot Shot heat gun has 2 fan speeds and a variable temperature setting. You can also purchase a fan or a reduction nozzle to spread or focus the air flow.

RF heat gun nozzle comes in two different styles. Reduction nozzle provides a totally concentrated pin point air flow. Fan nozzle has a wide opening which spreads hot air over a wider area for drying.

The Mekita heat gun has 2 fan speeds and a variable temperature setting. It is a little more rugged than the Hot Shot and heats up slightly faster. You can also purchase a fan or a reduction nozzle to spread or focus the air flow.
