Oil of Spike Lavender is a plant solvent obtained by distilling spike lavender. It is the least volatile of the solvents which makes it suitable for use in sketches that take longer. Mixed with slow setting mediums it helps to slow the setting time.

This strong, fast-evaporating solvent is used as a thinner and a remover of specified resins, inks, adhesives and contact cement.

The highest quality denatured ethyl alcohol. Use it as a shellac thinner and a clean burning fuel; specifically for use with alcohol burning appliances. Observe all label precautions.

Evaporates approximately five times faster than mineral spirit type paint thinners, which speeds the drying time of oil-based paints, enamels and varnishes. Naphtha also degreases and cleans metal, porcelain and wood surfaces. It will also thin some adhesives such as rubber cement.

Its high solvent power and proper evaporation rate will help prevent brush and lap marks and provide uniform film thickness and surface adhesion. It is ideal for cleaning brushes, tools and equipment after painting and is an excellent solvent for grease, oil and wax. It can be used to clean metal parts, wood and fabrics, and is good solvent for hard-to-clean caulking and glazing compounds.
