What is a Semi-Rigid Art Panel?

Semi-Rigid Art Panels are intended for stretching canvas over. The Gatorfoam® surface is not suitable for direct painting.

Lighter than Single-Sided options, our Semi-Rigid Art Panel design — featuring an acid-free Gatorfoam® board supported by a wooden cradle — is ideal for artists who use a lot of pressure during their painting process.

Features of our Semi-Rigid Art Panels

Made in the United States, Gatorfoam® is comprised of extruded polystyrene foam bonded between two layers of wood-fiber veneer. There is no need to worry about touching the crossbars. There is also the option of an aluminum reinforcement.
